1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or receiving medical aesthetic treatments at Jo Ferriday Aesthetics (180 Colcot Road, Barry, CF62 8UJ), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Jo Ferriday is an NMC Registered Nurse Practitioner, Level 7 Qualified in Aesthetic Medicine, and Save Face Accredited, operating under UK medical governance.

2. Consultations & Treatment Suitability

Medical aesthetic procedures are prescription and non-prescription healthcare treatments requiring clinical oversight:

• Mandatory Consultation: All new clients must undergo a thorough medical consultation prior to receiving treatment.
• Practitioner Discretion: The practitioner reserves the absolute right to refuse or decline treatment if deemed medically unsafe, unsuitable, ethically inappropriate, or if expectations cannot be reasonably met.
• Cooling-off Period: Where applicable or requested, clients are granted a cooling-off period to consider their treatment choices without obligation.

3. Age Requirement & Identification

In accordance with UK law (Botulinum Toxin and Cosmetic Fillers Children Act 2021) and clinical ethical standards:

• Treatments are strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older.
• Valid government-issued photographic identification (Passport or Driver's License) may be requested prior to consultation or treatment.

4. Booking Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling

To ensure smooth scheduling and respect for clinic appointment availability:

• Booking Deposit: A deposit may be required to secure your appointment time slot, which will be deducted from your final treatment cost.
• Cancellation Notice: We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, treatment time may be reduced or rescheduled to avoid impacting subsequent clients, and deposit terms will apply.

5. Medical Disclosure & Patient Responsibilities

Clients are required to provide full, honest, and accurate information regarding their medical history, current prescription medications, allergies, health conditions, and pregnancy/breastfeeding status during consultations.

Failure to disclose accurate medical information releases the clinic and practitioner from liability for unforeseen adverse reactions resulting from non-disclosure.

6. Treatment Outcomes, Variations & Aftercare

Medical aesthetic procedures are individualized interventions. Individual anatomical responses, healing rates, lifestyle factors, and skin conditions vary:

• No Guarantees: While every effort is made to achieve optimal aesthetic outcomes, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
• Aftercare Adherence: Clients must strictly comply with post-treatment aftercare instructions provided by Jo Ferriday. Non-compliance with aftercare instructions may compromise treatment results and safety.
• Review Appointments: Review appointments, where indicated, must take place within the clinical timeframe specified by your practitioner.

7. Fees & Payments

All treatment prices are clearly communicated prior to procedure delivery. Full payment for services rendered is due immediately following treatment, payable via approved electronic payment methods or cash. Prices are subject to revision, but quoted fees for booked appointments will be honored.

8. Complaints Policy & Clinical Standards

Jo Ferriday Aesthetics is dedicated to providing exemplary clinical care. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience:

Please submit your concern in writing to hello@joferriday.co.uk. All complaints are reviewed thoroughly in accordance with Save Face accreditation standards, and a response will be provided within 14 working days.

9. Intellectual Property & Website Use

All content, trademarks, photographs, branding, and text on this website are the property of Jo Ferriday Aesthetics and protected by UK intellectual property laws. Unauthorized duplication or redistribution is prohibited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
